Not much news on the treatment side. Off day for radiation, but much better “day after” than was Tuesday. For the “non pill taker” the pill helped.
I’ve still not heard from the hematologist. If not by first thing in the morning, I am headed up to the “Desk” and ask for the chief. I would think it would be about noon your time. Prayers for the guy who is never thrilled with confrontation would be appreciated. It’s been a somewhat restful day. I swam for a while in the morning and then did some stuff on the computer. Mid-afternoon I headed off to a favorite restaurant when some snow just started to fall. Here’s some things about a Minnesota snowfall that I experienced today. Big, fluffy, beautiful flakes. It’s rare to see them that big in Kentucky. They would have to be if there’s going to be 5-9 inches that are in the forecast by morning. At least for now, it looks like the wisdom to drive the old four-wheel drive Explorer was a good one. It’d be nice if you could see the smirk on my face. (If it breaks down before I get home, please disregard the precious comment.) The Rochester Schools did not dismiss early with the threat of “a major snow emergency.” I couldn’t find my hat, so I thought it was in the Explorer. Big, fluffy flakes turn to liquid rather quickly on my hatless head. Ford Explorers don’t stop any better in Minnesota when it snows than they do in Kentucky. It’s a disheartening thing to be passed on a divided highway by a school bus in a snowstorm. I will let you know how tomorrow goes.
